All Branch meetings will be held at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1709 W. Elizabeth, Fort Collins from 9:30-11:30 a.m. WPC is west of CSU on the south side of Elizabeth between Constitution and Skyline. Enter at the south door on the west side.
Board meetings: 3:30-5:00 pm at Westminster Presbyterian Church in the Library. Board Meeting Dates: Sept.9, Sept. 30, Nov. 4, Dec. 2, Feb. 10, Mar 3, April 7, and Apr. 28.
Saturday, September 12
Linda Mahan, a member of Health Care for All Colorado and the Larimer County League of Women Voters will present the movie “Health, Money, and Fear”. The film addresses the questions “Why Does Health Care Cost So Much and What Solutions Reflect American Values”.

Local AAUW member Kori Wilford will share her photographs and experiences of volunteering in Ladakh, India. During her second trip to Ladakh in 2009, Kori helped implement a woman’s health education project. A local public health educator, Kori is passionate about helping raise the status of women and girls both in our community and around the world.

"The Emerging and Changing Brain." Learn how our experiences and thoughts can change the structure and function of the brain even as we age. Dr. Howard Nornes, Professor Emeritus at Colorado State University , will introduce us to the fascinating new information on the brain’s potential for change and renewal.
NOTE: We will begin a study group in January for those who would like to learn more about the brain and how we can influence the changes that occur in our brains over our lifetimes.

Christmas Social. Our annual Holiday Brunch will put all of us in a festive mood for the holiday season. There will be a delicious buffet, the raffle of two baskets of gifts arranged by Dorothy Martin, and musical entertainment provided by local guitarist Kate Benessa.

The International Relations Interest Group will present a program on the Middle East with a particular emphasis on Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Local authors will share their insights as writers. Details will be provided closer to the meeting.

Spring Brunch and Silent Auction. . Join us for fellowship and good fun at the brunch and silent auction. Betty Moseley will update us on the AAUW Funds Education Program and Education Awards.
Saturday, May 1
The Brain 501. Members of the Brain Study Group will share what they learned about the emerging and changing brain as we age.
